Display the following notice to end users in or near your embedded chat widget:
This chat widget is powered by AI. Your messages are processed to generate responses and may be stored as conversation history. For details, see our Privacy Policy. To request data deletion, contact [COMPANY EMAIL].
Placement Guidance
- Display this notice within the chat widget itself — ideally below the input field or in the widget header.
- Consider a collapsed "About this chat" disclosure that users can expand.
- Link "Privacy Policy" to your own published privacy policy.
- Ensure [COMPANY EMAIL] is a monitored address that can handle data deletion requests.
Required Customizations
- [COMPANY EMAIL] — Your data deletion / privacy contact email address.
- Privacy Policy link — Update the link target to your actual privacy policy URL.
Regulatory Context
This notice is designed to support compliance with:

Data Processing by Arepo
When you deploy a chat widget using Arepo, conversation data is processed as described in the Data Processing Agreement. Arepo does not use widget conversation data to train AI models. Conversation history is stored per-session and can be deleted via the Arepo dashboard or API.
